Skate Amherstburg's Board would like to extend a welcome to all returning skaters and to all our new members. Over the coming season we will be sending out emails in addition to using our mailboxes to keep in touch. You will also find a great deal of information on our new web site.

As always we request that the skaters use the dressing rooms for getting their skates on. This will keep the lobby area clear and help prevent accidents.
 

Primary communication with our members is through email however, if we have any hard copy information that needs to be passed on the mailboxes will be placed by the badge bench.  The board hopes to purchase an electronic bulletin board sometime in the next year.  Until then we will be placing a movable board at the ice door with schedule information, a calendar of events and any other information we feel is of value to our members.  The calendar of events is also available online and will be updated on a regular basis as new dates and times are added.  You can also check out the Special Dates tab.

Feel free to stop by our new office just outside the ice doors.  We try to man the office during all sessions however if nobody is physically in the office please wait for a few minutes by the door; a board member may be watching their skater but will come to assist you shortly.

Although we are no longer producing a monthly newsletter as information is being forwarded through email, we have saved previous issues you can access on-line if you are interested.  Click here for previous issues of our newsletter. 

If you have any questions, concerns or comments please speak to a board member rather than taking a coach away from lesson time or click here for contact information. Also, if you know other parents who might benefit from receiving updating emails please let them know so that we can add them to our list.

Finally, if your child has just moved up to Juniors we'd like to recommend that you consider hiring a private coach to help them progress further in their skills.
